Doc 01
Creator Guidelines
How contributions are reviewed and what makes a strong one: first-hand experience, specific detail, honest opinion, and enough context that a reader could follow in your footsteps. Every submission goes to review before it appears anywhere in the GARMAN ecosystem.
Doc 02
GARMAN Brand Guidelines
Voice and look: calm, warm, unhurried, never hype. Write the way you would tell a friend. Keep the palette natural — botanical green, cream, warm neutrals — and avoid heavy filters, added borders, or overlaid text on imagery you send us.
Doc 03
Photography Guidelines
Shoot in natural light wherever possible, horizontal and vertical versions of key frames, minimum 2000px on the long edge. Real settings over staged ones. Send unedited or lightly edited originals so our team can crop for each destination.
Doc 04
Video Guidelines
Vertical for social, horizontal for site features, 30–90 seconds for most pieces. Record clean audio, hold each shot for at least three seconds, and include a short spoken intro so the clip works with and without captions.
Doc 05
Disclosure Requirements
Any gifted product, paid assignment, or commissionable link is disclosed clearly and up front — in the caption, not the comments, and in the video itself, not only the description. Disclosure is required regardless of platform.
Doc 06
Affiliate Guidelines
Only link products you have actually used. Use your own tracked links so attribution reaches you. Never imply a discount, guarantee, or medical outcome, and never place affiliate links in content aimed at children.
Doc 07
Product Testing Standards
Live with a product for the full testing window before writing. Report what didn't work as plainly as what did — a negative test is a useful test. Note how long you used it, how you used it, and who you'd recommend it to.
Doc 08
FTC Disclosure Basics
US creators follow the FTC endorsement guides: disclose material connections, make claims you can substantiate, and keep disclosures unavoidable rather than buried. When in doubt, disclose more than you think is needed.
Doc 09
Content Usage Rights
Each project defines what GARMAN may use, where, for how long, whether paid advertising is included, and whether edits are permitted. Terms are confirmed in writing before work begins. GARMAN does not ask for permanent blanket rights.

Creator FAQ
Answers to the questions creators ask most: review timelines, how paths can change over time, how referral attribution works, what happens when a submission needs changes, and how to pause contributing without leaving the community.
