UGC at GARMAN
Become a UGC creator with GARMAN.
GARMAN Creators make the kind of content brands can't fake — honest photos, short videos, and plain-spoken testimonials from real, considered lives. If you've ever wanted to become a UGC creator, this is a place to start: real briefs, fair pay, and work published under your own name.
What is UGC here?
Authentic content, made by real people.
UGC — user-generated content — is photos, video, and written impressions created by the people who actually use something. GARMAN commissions it the way a magazine commissions a story: with a brief, a deadline, and a byline.
Paid assignments
UGC briefs list compensation upfront — recent examples include $175 for a home ritual video set and $250 for a weekend travel guide, plus stipends on product tests.
Free product
Most UGC starts with something real in your hands. Products are sent to you to live with before you create anything.
Your name on it
Approved work is credited to you — with a profile page on garmancreator.com you can point clients and collaborators to.
Project types
The kinds of UGC we commission.
Briefs change with the seasons, but these are the recurring project types across the GARMAN ecosystem.
Home Rituals
Photograph and film the small routines that make a home feel considered — morning light, a candle lit at dusk, the way a room is used day to day.
Product Tests
Receive a product, live with it, then document honest first impressions and long-term use in photos, short video, and structured feedback.
Wellness & Beauty
Share real routines — skincare, movement, rest, everyday grooming — as authentic UGC rather than studio campaigns.
Travel & Local Discovery
Document places worth knowing: a weekend town, a trail, a table worth booking. Photos, clips, and short written notes.
Pet & Family
Create warm, unscripted content of the products and places that work for real households — pets and children included.
Testimonials & Stories
Speak plainly about your experience with GARMAN and its partner brands — on camera or in writing, in your own words.
Requirements
What it takes to become a UGC creator.
You don't need an audience, an agency, or expensive gear. You need taste, reliability, and a phone camera.
- A smartphone with a working camera is enough. No professional gear or editing suite is required.
- Good natural light and steady framing matter more than fancy equipment.
- You can follow a short brief — deliverables, deadline, and a few content guidelines — while keeping your own voice.
- You disclose sponsored and gifted content clearly, following FTC guidelines. We show you exactly how.
- You are 18 or older and can sign a standard creator agreement before paid work begins.
